SPRING DAY

Dear friends,
on 21st march we celebrated the Spring Day in Europe with the all Comenius schools here in Gravina: Liceum Tarantino, Primary school Tommaso Fiore, Primary school S. G. Bosco, Primary school S. D. Savio, Secondary school Montemurro. The title of the happening was: DEBATING OUR FUTURE
We passed together the morning at the Liceun Tarantino where students (from primary to secondary schools) prepared interesting work related to the European identity and concerning each project realized in their own institution:
Choirs: Himn to joy (Primary school T. Fiore)
Pantomime: Over the rainbow (Montemurro school)
Conference: by students of the Liceum Tarantino
Folk dances: Primary school T. FIore.
Then all the schools met together in a central square of the town where the local Band was waiting for us. Five hot-air balloons, one for each school, were lauched there with a colored human landscape made by flags, flowers, hearts and so on underlined the exited partecipation of students, partend and teachers. A drums roll accompained each ballon fly.
In the afternoon we met a representant of the European Parliment at the city hall: students were allowed to ask about their future in Europe and some other things related to the European belonging.

Spring coudn't start better than this!!!!!

Here are some pictures of the wonderful day.
